Helen Tee, the founder of Therapeutics Aroma, has been looking after people’s wellbeing for over 30 years, starting her career as a State Registered Nurse. She returned to nursing after travelling the world as cabin crew with Singapore Airlines. But personal health challenges and the threat of major surgery prompted her to explore different ways of looking after people in a physically less strenuous and stressful environment. Seeking a different pace, she moved to the English countryside to join the residential training academy at Champneys, the UK’s pioneering luxury health spa. This proved to be the turning point—it sparked her interest in the mind-body connection and complementary therapies and set her on a life-changing path. She returned to Singapore in 1995 to take up positions as supervisor and trainer in leading spas, leaving in 1997 to follow her passion and start Therapeutics Aroma.
Helen has trained extensively in specialised clinical, complementary and vibrational therapies in Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK and Germany. Her interest in helping clients explore the root cause of their skin issues at a deeper level drew her to study psychotherapy, and she completed her BSc in Counselling Psychology in 2006, followed by a Masters in Professional Counselling in 2008, with a post-graduate specialisation in Ericksonian Psychotherapy. An advocate of lifelong learning, she continues to attend training courses and workshops in a variety of disciplines with experts across the world.

Helen is passionate about preventative healthcare. Always positive, she is on a mission to help others improve their health and wellbeing, so their lives are better and full of purpose. Her multi-disciplinary approach to holistic body-mind-spirit wellbeing has won her a loyal following, and today her clients hail from across the world. When she is not seeing clients at her clinic she travels the globe with her camera, filling her mind with new knowledge, and filling her soul with the beauty of nature in harmony.
