She returned to nursing after travelling the world as cabin crew with Singapore Airlines. But personal health challenges and the threat of major surgery prompted her to explore different ways of looking after people in a physically less strenuous and stressful environment. Seeking a different pace, she moved to the English countryside to join the residential training academy at Champneys, the UK’s pioneering luxury health spa. This proved to be the turning point—it sparked her interest in the mind-body connection and complementary therapies and set her on a life-changing path.
